Style is a skill that you might not have been born with, but I promise you that it is a skill that be learned - and when you hire me as you’re stylist, I’m going to teach you all the tips and tricks so that you’re left with a closet filled with clothes that flatter your figure, enhance your complexion, showcases your authentic personality and is practical for the life you’re actually living.

Story Time…

You may or may not know this, but after having my first baby, I definitely experienced an identity shift. I went from being "selfish Erin" - AKA baby-less and being able to do whatever I wanted with my time to caring for a newborn around the clock.

I was expecting to be sleep-deprived, yes, but I never realized just how much of myself I would "lose" in the postpartum stage. I felt my new role as a mom completely taking over and I was wondering when I would start feeling more like myself again - feeling more than just a mom. When would the "old Erin" return?

3 months later, I started feeling as though I had a better handle on motherhood and slowly started feeling more like myself. I wanted to get out of the housecoat and make more of an effort with cooking meals, becoming more active, seeing friends and with my style - the way I used to be before having a baby.

But then...WHAM - the pandemic hit and I (and everyone else) was forced to stay indoors and isolate.

This was also the time where wearing loungewear everyday was not only appropriate, but encouraged…and not the cute loungewear we see in stores now in 2025. I’m talking sweats and oversized hoodies.

I could've backtracked and slipped back into wearing my "comfies" all day, knowing that it would be totally acceptable (and on-trend) but I knew this wouldn't help make me feel like my most authentic self. And at this point, all I wanted was to feel like Erin - not just "mama".

So, what did I do to help me feel like myself again?

decided that despite being in a pandemic, needed to take the time to put myself together:

  • To wear clothes that made me feel good and that complimented (and celebrated) my new, postpartum body

  • To take the time to put on some makeup and do my hair

  • To move my body in order to not feel totally sluggish

  • To show myself that I was worth putting in the effort

I knew that if I wanted to be a great mom, I needed to prioritize my mental well-being as well. Now, despite low-key thinking that this mentality would allow others to think I was being selfish/self absorbed, it felt pretty damn good to feel like myself again.

I could put myself together - feel cute in my clothes - AND be an attentive and loving mom.

I started intentionally selecting clothing items for myself that made me feel good; that flattered my shape and allowed for my personality to peek through. I also wore clothes that were practical for the life that I was living, but always fine-tuning my outfit in order to elevate the basics.

Declaring that I was worth putting in the effort and wearing clothes that made me feel comfortable, confident and beautiful made ALL the difference.

Now…

It’s my mission to help committed women step into their next-level selves in order for them to feel comfortable, confident and empowered in their clothes; teaching my clients the fundamentals of style in order for shopping and outfit creation to feel easy and enjoyable!

I’m here to show you that taking the time for you is not selfish. It’s required for your days to be productive and for you to be your most powerful and confident self.

Having a good sense of style is not saying “hey, look at me!”, but rather, claiming your space in each room you enter, stating “here I am.”
